CT NEWINGTON — Newington Zoning Board unanimously approves corner-lot garage variances. The ZBA approved variances allowing Antonio and Gloria Juliano to construct a 22-by-24-foot attached garage at 377 Connecticut Avenue, purchased in November 2025 after relocating from Massachusetts. Vice-Chairman Piotr Kolakowski presided.

Their son Antonio requested 7.1-foot and 20.0-foot variances on Connecticut and Victoria avenues for the undersized 8,191-square-foot corner lot, about 3,800 square feet under the 12,000-square-foot zone minimum. The lot itself was created by a 1964 variance. Two neighbors submitted support letters; the town engineer found no sight-line or safety impacts at the Connecticut-Victoria intersection.
