CT NEWINGTON — The Town Council held a public hearing on proposed Ordinance 2527-01, which would restrict street parking to 30 minutes between 2 a.m. and 6 a.m. on January and February nights and regulate parking during snowstorms. Three residents spoke, with Bob Tallard and Alan Pinones arguing for including December in the restrictions; Pinones noted that Wethersfield prohibits overnight parking entirely. Rose Lyons expressed no objection but asked where fine revenue would be directed.

The hearing was adjourned unanimously. The council's vote on the ordinance is not documented in these public hearing minutes.
