CT NEWINGTON — Parks board unanimously approved spring program guide and renewed tennis agreement. The Parks and Recreation Board approved the 2026 spring program guide with associated fees and charges, described as comparable to neighboring communities, following motion by Diana Serra and seconding by Carol Anne Anest. In a separate unanimous vote, the board renewed the year-round tennis program agreement with Bob Dean at Mill Pond Park.
The board also unanimously voted to install a commemorative bench and plaque honoring Superintendent Bill DeMaio.
