CT NEWINGTON — Newington Open Space Committee unanimously recommended three parcels for potential acquisition using an Open Space and Watershed Alliance Grant. Chair Gia Pascarelli and members Gail Budrejko, Juelin Chen, Kathy Gonzalez, and Beth DelBuono backed the recommendations: 180 Mountain Road and 70 Mountain Road, owned by Balf Company, and 184-200 Patricia M Genova Drive, owned by Hartford Healthcare. The Committee requested a Town Council meeting to discuss moving forward with acquisition of the three parcels.
