CT NEWINGTON — Library Renovations Committee tabled a fall presentation to Town Council, opting instead for public outreach. Members Kelly deHaas, LeeAnn Manke, Peter Manke, Kristopher Riley, and Aj Tiniakos unanimously approved prior minutes and directed the committee to focus on public education and grant funding research in collaboration with the Library Board. The committee plans to staff tables at the September 26 Waterfall Festival and the Library's November craft fair with informational materials and surveys.
Resident Diane Stamm remarked during public comment that the project will not be ready for a November referendum.
