CT NEWINGTON — The John Wallace Middle School Project Building Committee unanimously approved invoices and change orders as construction nears completion. Chairman Stephen Woods met with five members present, approving invoices from SES for $5,400 and CSG for $22,209.52. The committee also approved Application for Payment 13 totaling $86,804.96, along with two change orders.
Owner's Project Manager Henry Boers reported final moves have been completed, with a walkthrough scheduled for July 22. Newfield Construction retains approximately $102,000 in remaining contingency as paperwork and punch list closeout continue before final project handoff to the Town Council.
