CT NEWINGTON — John Wallace Middle School Building Committee unanimously approved $698,493 in project invoices and change orders. Chairman Stephen Woods and five members present endorsed payments to Friar Architecture, SES, and CSG, along with Payment Application 8 for $643,392.90 and Change Orders 19, 30, 45, 46, and 47 totaling $23,613.37. CSG reported Phase 1 complete with Phase 2 underway; Wings 3 and 4 have opened for staff and students with punch list work scheduled, and Wing 6 demolition has begun with no issues found.
