CT NEWINGTON — John Wallace Middle School Project Building Committee approved construction invoices and authorized $490,042.86 in payment. The committee unanimously approved invoices from Enviromed Services for $46,507.50 and from SES for $1,200.50. Architect Bob Roach of Friar Architecture reported progress on punch list items, while Construction Manager Danielle Couture reported Phase II is on schedule with bathroom tile work underway, casework 75 percent complete, ceiling grids installed, and duct cleaning in progress.
Project Manager Henry Boers of CSG confirmed no state reimbursement issues or change orders have arisen. The architect is preparing for furniture, fixtures, and equipment selections.
