CT NEWINGTON — Parks board unanimously approved sponsorships for three fall and winter community events. Board members Carol Anest, Beth DelBuono, Trish Feeney, Mia Colopy, and Tim Manke backed $500 sponsorships from Pike Apartments, Regional School Choice Office, and The Flash Lady Photography for Halloween and holiday programming. The board also accepted departmental administration of the Cherish Our Children memorial brick program, with proceeds reserved for the program and cemetery.
Pavilion rentals generated $19,000 from 137 bookings between April and October.
